Crystal’s Smitten List: Business Tiaras, Google Year in Search, Reading Challenge

This week, I’m positively smitten with…

1. Business tiaras: Sure, this article about business tiaras was written in jest, but I truly wish it were real. In it, the writer discusses the importance of wearing a business tiara in the workplace to show you’re serious about your job… and now I really want one. If you need a laugh this morning, I highly recommend you give it a read! As for me, I’ll be shopping for my tiara.

2. Google Year In Search: Like most people these days, I’m an avid Googler. If my Google search could talk, it would reveal all of my secrets, including the fact that I’ve Googled Sinbad this year to see what he’s up to. Because Google searches have become such a normal part of our daily lives, the company released this year-end retrospective. And if you don’t think a video about Google searches will make you a little emotional, you’re wrong.

3. Christmas Cards: Although I’m notoriously bad at sending them out, it’s very sweet to be the recipient of a Christmas card. I’m thankful for (and smitten with) every card I get, but this one from my little cousin is extra cute! Note that my dog, Obi (or “Odi” as Matt wrote) is the first name on the envelope and he gets a little bone drawing. We all know who the favorite is. (P.S. If you haven’t sent your Christmas cards out yet, there’s still time!)
