Steph’s Smitten List: Cardinals, Empowered Kiddos, Marie Forleo

This week I’m positively smitten with:

1) Cardinals: Just before my grandmother passed away 25 years ago, she told family and friends that whenever we saw a cardinal it was her making her presence. I speak for all of us when I say that this brings so much comfort. We see Grandma often, especially in the winter against the white snow, and we know there’s a reason she’s stopping by. This has been an especially wonderful year in so many ways, and I found it really special that I came home to three Christmas cards in one day that featured our beautiful red bird. Thanks for watching over us, Grandma ❤

2. Empowered Kiddos: Gaston rubs a lot of people the wrong way. The arrogant character trying to win over Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is into himself for all the wrong reasons, and even a little girl in this viral video picked up on his chauvinistic, self-centered ways. Of course, this Gaston was just playing his character, but it is awesome to see the girl so empowered as she shares her opinions about this rude dude!

3) Marie Forleo: If I had all the time in the world I would spend every day watching videos of Marie Forleo, who describes herself as the love child of Tony Robbins, Richard Branson, Oprah, and Jay-Z. A business and marketing whiz, she gives amazing advice in her fun and upbeat videos with takeaways and action steps on topics such as positivity, money, gratitude, success, finding time for life, saying no, and SO much more. She’s a gorgeous, fierce, smart, honest, and natural businesswoman. She’s a total inspiration. What’s not to love?

What are you positively smitten life?
