This week, I’m smitten with…
1. Pumpkin EVERYTHING: Fall, my favorite, is here. It’s here. There are a million reasons why I love fall, and pumpkin-everything is one of them. I love pumpkin picking, and pumpkin coffee, and pumpkin pie, and pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin carving, and pumpkin-shaped decorations. Pumpkin, where have you been all year?
2. We Love Colors: As we start seeing cooler weather, it’s time to start dressing a bit warmer. I’m stubborn and not quite ready to retire my dresses, no matter how cold it gets, which means I need something to keep me warm: tights! I rediscovered tights last year during the fall and, though I’ve tried several different types, I really love the tights available from We Love Colors. They have tights in tons of colors, materials, and weights, and will make it possible to wear your favorite dresses/skirts without getting frost bite.
3. Hispanic Heritage Month: September 15 through October 15 marks Hispanic Heritage Month, and Photographer Eunique Jones is celebrating in the cutest way possible. Jones — the genius behind a campaign called “Because of Them, We Can,” which celebrated Black History Month — has photographed young girls dressed up as Latina and Latino trailblazers, like Selena, Desi Arnaz, Sonia Sotomayor, and Rebecca Lobo. Adorable!
