What Are You Positively Smitten With This Week?

I’m positively smitten with my grandpa. After a hospital scare earlier this week, I can’t put into words how amazing it was to see him laughing, joking, and moving around. He’s a fighter, and a total inspiration.

I’m positively smitten with the ability to get myself  through tough days and weeks. It’s not always pretty, but thanks to flexible friends, encouraging family, a supportive boyfriend, my own perseverance, and the powers to be, I have overcome every struggle, big and small, one at a time.

I’m positively smitten with SPRINGTIME! It’s finally warm and sunny where I am (though it’s going to temporarily get cold again this weekend), but I love spring for so many reasons: sandals/flip-flops, sun, flowers…. but more than anything, because it feels like a new beginning.

  1. I’m positively smitten because this week my fiance took me out for dinner (even though for his job) to a royal palace. The gardens, the palace, the paintings, and most of all his wonderful attention, were so beautiful that I nearly felt like a princess!
