“Smitten Life” is a monthly series – a photo diary giving you a glimpse of what we’re doing each month to create and live our own smitten lives! We hope you enjoy being inspired by these images as much as we do capturing them. Feel free to share your own smitten life photos on our Facebook!
I discovered a vintage record store right down the street from the house! They have new and old records, and all for a really fantastic price. My mission is to find a Beyonce vinyl record in the near future.
I started a new job in January, and I love it! For the first time ever, I have my VERY OWN office. (Please ignore the fact that I somehow managed to take an out-of-focus photo. But you get the gist.)
This is the view right next to my office! I can’t wait until spring rolls around so it’ll be even more serene.
I snuck this picture of Bill one night at IHOP, which we stopped at right before…
…seeing comedian John Oliver! These were incredible Christmas gifts to me from Bill because I love John Oliver so much. We trekked out in the snow to see the show, and it was worth it.
Mostly, my life recently has been snowy. Very, very, very snowy.
So snowy, in fact, that before a particularly bad snow storm (which included three feet of snow), I stopped to get some wine beforehand. Because those are my priorities.
I also stopped by a Super Bowl party, where I watched Missy Elliot and Lenny Kravitz (and that other lady) during the halftime show, and hung out with this cutie pie named Boone.
It was a sweet surprise when these flowers showed up at work the day before Valentine’s Day!
The winter weather will NOT let up. Thankfully, I have this super cute (and warm) scarf from my brother, which he gave to me as a Christmas gift.
I’ve been a little crafty lately and made this necklace using a necklace I already had that broke!
And I also made these mugs, which I think are pretty fantastic. Tutorial coming soon!
