I had a BFF weekend with Steph! It was incredible. Here's some of her property. Yeah, SOME of it. It's gorgeous.
“Smitten Life” is a monthly series – a photo diary giving you a glimpse of what we’re doing each month to create and live our own smitten lives! We hope you enjoy being inspired by these images as much as we do capturing them. Feel free to share your own smitten life on our Facebook and Twitter pages!
My fiance and I got to take a vacation to Florida — and it was perfect! Hot, but perfect. FINALLY, I got to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
How amazing is this?! Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes was, by far, my favorite shop… but all of Diagon Alley was incredible.
The trip wouldn’t have been complete with a visit to HOGWARTS! It’s real, guys.
…And these are some of the goodies I got. There’s no such thing as Harry Potter overload in my book.
We also stopped at Disney World, and I saw the amazing fireworks show and the Electric Parade for the first time. It was magical.
Once I got back from vacation, autumn (my favorite season) was in full swing.
And so were the local fairs. A great excuse to eat fried food!
I spent an afternoon cooking some rice and beans for Bill and I to have for lunch one week. Yum!
At the start of October, “Gilmore Girls” was added to Netflix. I’m officially turning into a hermit so I can re-watch all 8 seasons.
One of my favorite things in recent memory was my BFF weekend with Steph! It was incredible. Here’s some of her property. Yeah, SOME of it. It’s gorgeous.
And I felt compelled to take a selfie.
Steph and I celebrated her recent engagement with some tasty chocolate-covered strawberries.
And some wine. Obviously.
I got to meet Steph’s dogs, Retta and Hank. I almost stole them because they were so cute.
The next morning, Steph and I made homemade doughnuts. Be sure to come back on Monday for the recipe! ;)
Then we went to a local apple orchard! It really made things feel like fall.
Back at home, I found this adorable graffiti on a road sign at our local movie theaters and had to take a picture.
Then Bill and I took a day trip to NYC and stopped by the Marvel Avengers Station in Times Square. Hopefully this means I’ll be meeting Thor soon.
Spotted this while in NYC, too.
Lastly, Bill turned 26. I made him a cake and we did lots of celebrating!
